Hanwha Defense USA, Inc. Annouces $2.2 billion manufacturing investment, in Jefferson County, creating 400 jobs

We’re proud to celebrate the arrival of Hanwha Defense USA, Inc. and its historic $2.2 billion manufacturing investment, the largest economic development project of its kind in Jefferson County, which will create 400 new jobs for our county.

This project will create new opportunities for our workforce, bring high-quality careers to the county, and generate increased economic activity for local businesses. It builds on the momentum we’ve worked to create as we strengthen Jefferson County’s position as a destination for advanced manufacturing investment.

We are proud to have played a part in this effort and grateful to the many federal, state, regional, and local partners who worked together to help make this opportunity a reality.
